GROSS NATIONAL HAPPINESS (GNH)

Psychological and physiological attempt to measure national happiness as a part of GDP (Gross Domestic Product). Bhutan’s former King Jigme Singye Wangchuck coined it in 1972. Techniques vary, but a widely used, second-generation GNH metric uses seven specific indicators as a composite of quantitative and qualitative research: Economic, environmental, physical, mental, workplace, social and political wellness.

GROSS RECORDING METHOD
